Beyond8bit.com started as a way for Fodder to stop himself from losing his mind as he got older and couldn’t find a job that really allowed him to do what he loved, entertain people. At first it was just an outlet for game reviews, video editing, and random blogs that would make him laugh.
After realizing that he and friend Tyler shared a love for talk radio, Fodder enlisted the help of Tyler, Sexton Hardcastle and Big EZ to record a weekly podcast that would emulate the radio shows they enjoyed. The show 8-Bit Radio caused a huge jump in Beyond8bit’s visibility and cast members Pepper and Geoff were added to help with the production and marketing of the website.
To this day, Beyond8bit.com makes no money, and while we are hoping to eventually turn this labor of love into something we can do for a living, it remains nothing more then an outlet for the creativity of 6 people to entertain anyone willing to give us a chance. If you keep enjoying it, we will keep doing it.
